Brijabasis of New Vrindabana: The '70s and '80s. |

To say there was/ is great potency in the regular chanting: Hare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare ... is an understatement! Every morning ... 16 rounds. In the U.S. Army, it is said, "We do more before 9 AM every day than the average citizen does in a day. At New Vrindabana, we could have said, "We do more, every day, before 5 AM than the U.S. Army does in a life time." |

I used to creep up behind Gadadhara Prabhu during the chanting of the Pancha Tattva Mantra and emphasize that part which invoked his name. Peaceful, blessed and blessing as he is, Gadadhara always smiled at me over this. Friendly and warm, this wonderful Devotee is a true friend forever, and my elder God Brother. Gadadhara introduced me to computers and word processing in 1978. He brought me to his parent's home in Queens and introduced me to his family. He is always my friend. He is always smiling and patient. Today, he Gone, and yet, right here.. Again, I chant "JAYA SRI KRSNA CAITANYA, PRABHU NITYANANDA, SRI ADVAITA, GADADHARA, SRIVASADI GAURA BHAKTA VRNDA |
